She has many years of experience in matters related to the implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards and the obligations of listed companies, also in matters related to tax, customs and banking procedures as well as in matters related to the textile and energy sector.
He has many years of professional experience in the private sector. He has worked, in various companies, in numerous managerial positions, as Financial Director, Financial and Tax Consultant and Human Resources Consultant.
He specializes as a consultant in matters related to the establishment, organization and control of companies as well as in providing consulting services in tax, accounting and labor issues. He has written articles in financial sites and has participated as a seminar presenter in the above mentioned subjects.
Since February 2015, he has been a Member of the Board of Directors of “Selected Textiles S.A.”, and has served as a Member and Chairman of the Audit Committee.
He has more than thirty-nine years of experience in the field of accounting and auditing, in particular:
From 1981 to 1988 he was an accounting executive and accounting manager of private sector companies.
From 1989 to 2020 as a Certified Public Accountant in the company “Associated Certified Public Accountants S.A.”, shareholder of “S.O.L. S.A.” and head of an audit team specializing in the audit of individual and consolidated financial statements of public interest entities, audit of legal entities in the private and public sector in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards and Greek Accounting Standards, audit of municipalities and municipal enterprises under public and private law.
From 2015 to December 2019, he was Chairman and CEO of the CSE-listed company, SELONTA SA, where he successfully contributed to the achievement of the company’s turnaround objectives, the absorption of third party companies and the completion of the procedures for its sale by the systemic banks to the Amerra Capital Management (US) – Mubadala Private Equity (UAE) consortium.
He has served for two years as Deputy Minister of Development, Competitiveness, Infrastructure, Transport and Networks with responsibility for Trade and Industry, Secretary General of the Ministry of Development, Secretary General of the Ministry of Economy and Finance with responsibility for tax and customs issues, and Secretary General of the Region of Central Greece.
He has been a seminar speaker at the Hellenic Institute of Insurance Studies and the Institute of Financial Studies.
He has been distinguished for his social action and Corporate Social Responsibility actions by actively participating in the Boards of Directors of recognized associations, while, among other things, he has been honored in 2019 with the gold award “Health & Safety Awards” for his activities to promote a corporate culture of employee health and safety. It has also recently been honored with the “Top Industrial Export Company” award.
She has extensive experience as a legal advisor to companies on business and investment law issues, providing services in a wide range of legal matters including banking law, capital markets law, mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance. She also has significant long-term experience in public law and energy law. She represents individuals and companies before the Civil and Administrative Justice. She has excellent knowledge of English and French. She is a lawyer at the joint stock company “Hellenic Capital Partners AEDAKES” and at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
She holds a degree from the Faculty of Law of Montesquieu University, Bordeaux IV, France and a Magister Juris degree from the University of Oxford, England. She has also completed the “Accounting – Financial Statements Analysis” program of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (KEDIBIM). She is a member of the Education, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Committee of the Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce.
