CELLS GROUNDS - BUILDING INSTALLATIONS
The company' s real estates are constituted by the total of grounds and building installations of its four productive units, which are installed in Farsala, Livadia, Amfiklia and Lamia.
It is pointed out that the productive capacity of the spinning mills the company amounts the 12.650 tons annually.
MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT
More analytically, the factory of Farsala, which constitutes the sovereign productive unit of Company, is installed in privately-owned plot of 281,797 acres with total accomodated surface 84.931 t.m. and it is developed in 5 separate units as follows:
- Building group of ginnery and store room. It includes two engine rooms store rooms of seed cotton, , store rooms of parcels of ginned cotton, sheds, group of treatment of ginning by-products as well as group combustion of solid litter of ginning. These installations function from 1980, while their last extension was finished in September 2000. All buildings and installations cover an extent of 24.030 m2. Their annual capacity is 23.000 tons of ginned cotton and the installed capacity amounts in 6.480 KW.
- A' Spinning mill of pennie and carded yarns. It functions from 1972 and was modernised in 1999 and in 2000 and allocates 18.768 spindles. Its annual capacity is 3.600 tons of produced thread and its installed capacity is 3.784,22 KW.
- B' spinning mill of pennie yarns. It functions from 1986 and allocates 25.920 spindles. Its annual capacity is 3.300 tons of thread and its installed capacity is 2.960,72 KW.
- C' Spinning mill of pennie yarns. It functions from 1992 and allocates 23.712 spindles. Its annual capacity is 2.200 tons of thread and its installed capacity is 3.141,22 KW.
- D' Spinning mill of pennie and carded yarns. It functions from April 1996 and allocates 24.192 spindles. Its annual capacity is 3.400 tons of thread and its installed capacity is 4.582 KW.
- Twisting mill group. It is constituted from 20 twisting frames. There is the possibility of producing two-fold yarns and multi-fold yarns.
The factory allocates completed system of follow-up qualitative and productive data in real time (USTER EXPERT, LOEPFE MILL MASTER), as well as specifically equipped laboratories of qualitative control for the follow-up and optimisation of products in all the phases of productive process. This laboratories are also used for the development and certification of new products and methods of production.
It is marked that the Company has been certified at EQUAL 9000 (1996) and at ISO 14000 (2000).
With regard to the factory in Livadia, this is found in privately-owned plot of 59 acres with building group of 7,235 acres and his productive installations includes:
- Cones Dyeing house. Functions from 1967 and its annual capacity is 1.694 tons of thread and its installed capacity is 714 KW.
- Gazed merserized hanks dyeing house. Functions from 1982. Its annual capacity is 250 tons of thread and its installed capacity is 240 KW.
- Unit of treatment of effluent of the factory. Functions from 1992. Its annual capacity is 1.100 m3/day and its installed capacity is 100 KW.
The third productive unit of Company is located in Amfiklia and it includes a ginning unit , which is rent and presents annual capacity of 3.500 tons of ginned cotton.
Finally, the bought off ginning unit of 1850 KW capacity, which finds in Central Greece and concretely in Lamia is installed 30.000 sqm field, while its annual capacity touches upon 4.500 tons of ginned cotton annually.
